Lake County Receives National Recognition for Exceptional Service
Lake County was honored to receive the 2022 Property and Recording Tyler Excellence Award at Tyler's annual Connect user conference. The award is given to organizations who exhibit leadership, innovation, and excellence. This is the second time Lake County was recognized for its successful integration of Tyler technology to help improve daily operations. The first was in 2018.
The demands of residents continue to be a key focus for Lake County, specifically when it comes to property value and taxation. By integrating the new assessment and tax software, the Lake County Chief County Assessor's Office (CCAO) was able to process more than 12,000 assessment appeals in less than four months.
This all was done while introducing the ability for property owners to electronically contest a valuation and reducing the in-office workforce. Lake County increased the efficiency of data processing and can now better assist county residents. The CCAO now has the solutions needed to share data and can perform complex fiduciary duties without interruption.
Chief County Assessor Robert Glueckert and the staff of the Chief County Assessor's Office were recognized at the June 14 County Board meeting for receiving the distinguished honor.
"Today, the transparency we can offer the taxpayers of Lake County is far beyond anything else that is seen in this state," Chief County Assessor Robert Glueckert said.
