The Illinois Department of Transportation announced that repairs to the Canadian National Railroad crossing on Hough Street (Illinois 59), north of James Street, in Barrington, will require a full closure starting, weather permitting, 9 a.m. Saturday, April, 23.
A detour will direct motorists to County Line Road/Main Street, Hart Road and Northwest
Highway (U.S. 14).
The work is expected to be complete by, weather permitting, 6 p.m. Friday, April 29.
