Work, Earn, & Learn (WEL) Program Launch your career with training professionals. This is an opportunity for young adults ages 18 -24 years to start a paid internship with the Waukegan Township. REVIVE Lake County
Revive Lake County is a program that provides additional guidance and assistance to individuals having difficulty obtaining or retaining employment due to a record of arrest or conviction. The Revive Lake County Program is a 5-week curriculum-based program that covers the following areas: Life Skills Career Awareness Employability Skills Essential Workplace Skills Capstone The program's goal is to have the graduated participants transition into full-time employment, an approved training program, or work experience. Ride Lake County
Lake County's new countywide paratransit service called "Ride Lake County" is set to launch on May 1, 2022. Seniors age 60+ and people with disabilities that are interested in using the new service are encouraged to register by calling the Pace Call Center at 1-800-201-6446. Download flyer (PDF)
