Media Invitation: Lake County State’s Attorney & Federal Agencies Announce Creation of Human Trafficking Task Force

What:

(Lake County, IL) - The Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office in collaboration with the U.S Attorney’s Office, A Safe Place, and several other agencies are proud to announce the formation of a new grant-funded Human Trafficking Task Force. This substantial investment in Lake County by the Department of Justice’s Bureau of Justice Assistance will give the Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office and law enforcement partners the ability to greatly enhance investigations and prosecutions of human trafficking cases, while also increasing victim services.
