PUBLIC MEETING: Deep Lake Road Improvements
The Lake County Division of Transportation (LCDOT) is hosting a virtual public information meeting to discuss the Phase I engineering study of Deep Lake Road from IL 173 to the Wisconsin state line in the Village of Antioch and unincorporated Lake County.
The purpose of this meeting is to present the preferred alternative and project schedule, and gather public input. The public meeting will be conducted in a virtual meeting format, beginning with a presentation followed by a public question and answer session. LCDOT and consultant representatives will be present to discuss the project and answer questions.
The virtual public meeting will be held on Zoom. Registration is required.
Date: Wednesday, November 17, 2021 Time: 5 pm
Materials from this meeting will be available on the project website within a few days after the meeting. This meeting will be accessible to individuals with disabilities or lack of internet access. Anyone needing special assistance and planning to attend should contact Michael Lukich, LCDOT Project Manager at 847-377-7474 by Nov. 12, 2021.
LCDOT encourages the public to provide feedback on the project. Comments and questions can be submitted during the meeting through Zoom. Those unable to attend will be able to submit comments online. An online comment form will be posted on the project website after the meeting.

About the Project
LCDOT is conducting a Phase 1 study to improve safety and traffic flow on Deep Lake Road from IL 173 to the Wisconsin state line. Under consideration are new roundabouts on Deep Lake Road at Depot St. and North Ave., and a new multi-use path along the west side of Deep Lake Road from IL 173 to North Ave.
