Fremont Township, IL - The Lake County Division of Transportation (LCDOT) will be closing Gilmer Road, from Fairfield Road to Fremont Center Road, to through traffic starting Monday, Nov. 1 at 7 a.m. and is scheduled to reopen late afternoon on Wednesday, Nov. 10. The closure is necessary to replace a culvert west of Fremont Center Road.
Detour Route: Fairfield Road to IL 176. Local traffic will have access on Fairfield Road to the work zone and access from Fremont Center Road to the work zone. The work zone will be closed to all traffic.
