IDOT Road Closure Notice: IL 59 Closing at Rail Crossing in Barrington on Monday

The Illinois Department of Transportation announced that repairs to the Union Pacific Railroad crossing on Hough St (IL 59), north of Main Street/County Line Road in Barrington, will require a full closure starting, weather permitting, at 9 a.m. Monday, Aug. 23

A detour will direct motorists to County Line Road/Main Street, Hart Road and Northwest
Highway (US 14).

The work is expected to be complete by, weather permitting, 9 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1.
