The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) announced that cleaning and
painting of the bridge that carries the Metra Milwaukee District North Line over Peterson Road
in Libertyville will require a full closure on both sides of Peterson Road at the bridge, weather
permitting, from Monday, Aug. 2 to Monday, Aug. 16.
A detour will direct motorists to US 45 and Buckley Road (IL 137). Access to businesses
and residences will be maintained.
