Wadsworth Road to Close at Canadian Pacific Railroad Tracks on June 28

Wadsworth, IL - The Canadian Pacific Railroad has informed the Lake County Division of Transportation it will be closing the railroad crossing on Wadsworth Road east of the Des Plaines River to conduct repairs. The closure will begin at 7 a.m. Monday, June 28. The road will reopen to traffic the evening of Wednesday, June 30.

The signed detour route for the Wadsworth Road closure will be U.S. Route 41 (Skokie Highway) to IL 173 (Rosecrans Road) to Delany Road. Local traffic will be allowed from US 41 to the railroad crossing and from Delany Road to the crossing. The railroad crossing will be closed to all traffic.
