WAUKEGAN, Illinois – Are you looking for a way to help your community and earn some extra spending money? You must be a Lake County registered voter and enthusiastic about customer service. Bilingual English/Spanish speaking applicants are encouraged to apply. Training classes are taking place February 26 - March 2 and are available at Lake County facilities in Waukegan.
Illinois Department of Public Health safety practices and health standards are in place in all training rooms, Early Voting sites, and Election Day voting sites.
O'Connor explained, "Working in the polls offers citizens a first-hand role in our democracy and ensures that voting does work in our county."
