Subject: Healthcare Workers and the Lake County AllVax Portal 

Dear Lake County Providers,  

We strongly encourage all healthcare workers to get the COVID-19 vaccine. This vaccine has been rigorously tested for efficacy and safety before being authorized for use in the United States. We want to ensure that those of you on the front lines can protect yourself and your families during the pandemic. 

All healthcare workers who live and work in Lake County, including those affiliated with hospital systems, should register online at: AllVax.lakecohealth.org. Healthcare workers include nurses, physicians, physical/occupational therapists, respiratory technicians, nursing assistants, janitorial staff, food service staff, and more. 

By entering basic information and answering a few screening questions on the portal, you will be registered to receive notification when a vaccine is available. 

If you are affiliated with a hospital system, you should receive your vaccine through your affiliated hospital and should not schedule a vaccination appointment with the Lake County Health Department.  

If you are not affiliated with a hospital system (i.e., private clinic or provider), you are encouraged to schedule with the Lake County Health Department when the vaccine is available.
