North Chicago, IL: The Lake County Division of Transportation (LCDOT), in coordination with the City of North Chicago, will be closing Jackson St. to through traffic one block north and one block south of 14th St. 14th St. will remain open to all east-west traffic. The closure will begin on Tuesday, Oct. 13 at 6 a.m. and the road will be closed for four weeks. This closure is necessary to complete pavement reconstruction prior to the winter season.
DETOUR ROUTE: From the north, 13th St. to Lincoln St. to 15th St.. From the south, 15th St. to Victoria Ave. to 13th St.
