IDOT Road Closure Notice: Lake Cook Road Closing at Rail Crossing in Barrington

Forwarding this news release from the Illinois Department of Transportation as a courtesy. 

The Illinois Department of Transportation announced that repairs to the Canadian National Railway crossing on Lake Cook Road in Barrington will require a full closure starting at 9 a.m. Monday, Aug. 24. The work is expected to be complete by 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28. 

A detour will direct motorists to Hart Road, Northwest Highway (US 14) and Hough Street
(IL 59). More information.
