Round Lake Beach, IL- The Canadian National Railway will soon be closing the railroad crossing on Monaville Road in Round Lake Beach for crossing repairs. Monaville Road will be closed at the railroad crossing starting at 9 a.m. Monday, Aug. 31 and is expected to reopen by 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 5.
DETOUR ROUTE: IL Route 83 to IL Route 132 to Cedar Lake Road. Local traffic will have access from Cedar Lake Road east to the railroad crossing and from IL Route 83 west to the railroad crossing. The railroad crossing will be closed to all traffic.
