Hutchins Road Bridge Construction: April 17, 2020

The Hutchins Bridge construction is coming along nicely, and it is looking more like a bridge every day. Crews completed the work on the creek, and the steel beams have been set. The contractor has begun framing the bridge deck, and this work will continue to take place over the next few weeks. 

Traffic impacts: Hutchins Road from IL 132 to Stearns School Road is still closed as crews replace existing large culverts with a new bridge structure.

Detour Route: Illinois Route 132 to US Route 45 to Stearns School Road. Local traffic will be allowed from IL 132 north to Edgewood Drive and from Stearns School Road south to Grandwood Dr. The road is closed to all through traffic at Mill Creek.
