Beginning Wednesday, March 18, the Central Permit Facility located at 500 W. Winchester Road, Libertyville, will limit in-person interactions between staff and the public while maintaining the full range of customer services that are currently provided.
The Lake County Stormwater Management Commission (SMC) will be exploring an all-digital submittal process starting on Monday, March 30 and will coordinate with our working partners. Those submitting permits are encouraged to use this online portal.
The public may use the drop box in the front hallway (next to the front counter) to drop off stormwater permitting materials. Hard copy stormwater permit submissions will not be accepted by SMC starting on March 30, however staff will make special accommodations for those who are unable to submit permit materials electronically.
