Round Lake, IL - The Lake County Division of Transportation (LCDOT) will be closing Fairfield Road, from IL Route 120 to IL Route 134, to through traffic starting Wednesday, Oct. 2 at 7 a.m. and will reopen by the late afternoon on Tuesday, Nov. 6. The closure is necessary to replace a culvert at Squaw Creek.
Detour Route: IL Route 120 to Wilson Road to IL Route 134. Local traffic will have access from IL 134 south to Nippersink Road and local residences and from IL Route 120 north to local residences. The road will be closed to all through traffic at Squaw Creek.
