Bike Path Wayfinding and Signage Study Public Meeting, May 1

The Lake County Division of Transportation (LCDOT) is beginning a countywide Bike Path Wayfinding and Signage study. The purpose of the study is to develop a wayfinding strategy and establish guidelines and sign templates to enhance the bikeways in Lake County. Ultimately the goal is to help the public using the bike paths have a better understanding of where they are on the trails and make it easier to find connecting destinations. Eventually this may lead to increased usage of the bike path network in Lake County and encourage people to get out of their cars and use non-motorized transportation options.
