WAUKEGAN, Illinois – Lake County Clerk Robin M. O’Connor encourages all citizens in City of Waukegan Wards 2, 3, 7, and 8 to vote in the February 26th Consolidated Primary Election. If busy schedules or travel plans make it difficult for you to vote on Election Day, remember you can vote early or by mail to make sure your ballot is cast.

Voting by Mail is available to all registered voters. Your electronic or paper ballot application form must be received at the Clerk’s office by noon on Thursday, February 21. Your voted ballot must be returned to the Clerk’s office with a postmark no later than Election Day.

Early Voting continues through Monday, February 25, at the Lake County Main Courthouse Lobby, 18 N. County Street, Waukegan.

Election Day is Tuesday, February 26, and all 12 voting sites will be open from 6 AM to 7 PM. On Election Day, you must vote at your assigned neighborhood voting site.

If you need to register for the first time or update your name or address on a current record, Grace Registration is available when you vote early or on Election Day. You are required to meet all age, citizenship, and residency requirements; present valid identification; and vote at the time of registration. Remember, 17-year olds can register and vote in this primary election if their 18th birthday is on or before the Consolidated Election on April 2, 2019.
