Lake County Sheriff's Office Supports Toys for Tots Campaign

Waukegan, IL – The Lake County Sheriff’s Office is proud to support the U.S. Marine Corps' Toys for Tots campaign. Sheriff Mark Curran stated, "There is no greater joy than the joy of giving, especially to children. Toys for Tots accepts new, unwrapped toys suitable for children through the age of 16. Let's fill the boxes Lake County!"

New and unwrapped toys are being collected through December 8, 2018 at the following locations:

Lake County Sheriff’s Office, 25 S Martin Luther King Jr Avenue, Waukegan
Lake County Courthouse (Court Security), 18 N County Street, Waukegan
Lake County Sheriff's Office, 1301 N Milwaukee Avenue, Libertyville

Ideas for pre-teens/teens: Sporting equipment, bags, balls; backpacks, cosmetics, purses, watch/wallet gif sets, bath gift sets, board games, radio control cars/trucks, hand-held electronics, skateboards/helmets, curling irons, hair straighteners and hair dryers.

Please note the Toys for Tots campaign prefers not to accept realistic looking weapons or gifts of food.
