Vote November 6th

The November 6 Election is fast approaching! You may have seen a lot of information about the upcoming election, but did you know there are several ways to vote? How about being able to register on Election Day? Take a look at our list of Five Things to Know for the upcoming election.

1. Grace Voter Registration

Voter registration with a deputy registrar, by mail, and online has closed for the November election. But for those who need to register for the first time or update their current record, grace voter registration is available at any early voting site now through Nov. 5 and at the voter’s assigned Election Day site. Applicants must meet all voter registration requirements, provide valid identification, and vote at the time of registration.

2. Three Ways to Vote

Vote by Mail
Don’t like waiting in line? Well, voting by mail may be the best option for you! Registered voters must submit a required application form by noon on Nov. 1 to vote by mail. Returning voted by mail ballots must be postmarked on or before Tuesday, Nov. 6.

Vote Early
Early voting is available now through Nov. 3 at 12 sites throughout Lake County. Four additional sites are open until Monday, Nov. 3 and offer extended evening and weekend hours. The best part is Lake County residents can go to any one of these 16 locations. Find an early voting site by using this locator. View dates, locations, and hours of sites.

Vote on Election Day
Unlike early voting, you must go to your assigned polling location if you plan to vote on Election Day (Nov. 6). Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Find your assigned Election Day voting site.
