The Illinois Department of Transportation announced that the removal and replacement of a Metra retaining wall will require closing northbound Lake Street in Libertyville beginning, weather permitting, Thursday, Oct. 18.
A detour will direct northbound motorists west on Peterson Road, north on Illinois 83 east on Belividere Road (Illinois 120) to reconnect with Lake Street. Southbound Lake Street will remain open during reconstruction. More Information.
