Green Oaks, IL- Metra will be closing St. Mary’s Road to
through traffic from IL 137 to IL 176. The closure will begin at 6 a.m. on
Wednesday, Aug. 8 and is scheduled to reopen the afternoon of Monday, Aug. 20.
The closure is necessary to improve ride quality at the existing railroad
crossing. This project will include replacing the crossing surface, asphalt and
concrete milling, repaving and striping.
Local traffic will be allowed from IL 137 south to Thornbury
Lane/Greenbriar Drive and from IL 176 north to Minard Lane. The railroad
crossing will be closed to all traffic.

137 to IL 21 to IL 176.
