I was thrilled to recently co-host a Love Thy Neighbor Community Event called #Hashtag Lunchbag Lake County and join all ages who wanted to make a difference. Working at the North Chicago Community Library, we assembled bagged lunches, filled with a sandwich, drink, fruit and treat to help feed the less fortunate. |

After packing the lunches, which were put in beautifully decorated bags featuring inspiring love notes, the dedicated group of volunteers then took the lunches to shelters and various organizations that help the homeless in Lake County. |

walk through Lake County’s history from prehistoric times to the present and
invites visitors to explore the land where it happened.
The Dunn Museum
uses a balance of authentic artifacts, interactive exhibits, reproductions
and audiovisual displays. Permanent exhibitions include Prehistoric Lake County, The First People, An
American Frontier, Innovations and Preservation and Woodland Theater. A Special
