WAUKEGAN, Illinois - Lake County Clerk Carla N. Wyckoff invites the press and the public to observe the candidate name order lottery at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 in the lobby of the Lake County Courthouse and Administrative Complex, 18 North County Street, Waukegan, Illinois.
A lottery is required to determine the order of the candidates’ names on the primary ballot when two or more established political party candidates from the same party file nominating papers for the identical office during the first hour of the first day or the last hour of last day of filing. The filing period for the March primary was November 27 to December 4, 2017.
A current candidate list is available at LakeCountyClerk.info and will be updated as new candidate information becomes available.
