The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) announced that a full closure will take place on Grand Avenue (Illinois 132) east of Skokie Highway (U.S. 41), in Gurnee, beginning, weather permitting, Friday, Oct. 27. The closure is necessary for beam placement and construction of a temporary bridge, part of the ongoing improvements on Grand Avenue between U.S. 41 and Waveland Avenue. Read IDOT's News Release.
