Following the devastating floods, Lake County government and its partners have been working nonstop to respond to the disaster and provide needed resources and assistance. I encourage you to read the information below to learn more about the flood resources that may be available to you. Also, if you wish to help or make a donation, please see the information below.
- The Salvation Army donation hotline is 1-888-369-1349.
- The Red Cross has set up a hotline for those in need of assistance at 847-220-7495.
Free Cleaning Supplies Event Those needing assistance and/or supplies for flood cleanup in and
around their home are invited to attend a FREE event at one of two locations
tomorrow. Receive a five-gallon bucket filled with cleaning supplies at
Wildwood Presbyterian Church, 18630 W. Old Gages Lake Road, Grayslake and at
Transformation Church, 38869 N. Deep Lake Road, Lake Villa on July 29 from 9
a.m. - 2 p.m.
*While supplies last*
Each family can also receive up to two gallons of a hospital
grade, EPA registered professional sanitizing chemical for use on porous and
non-porous surfaces. To receive the cleaner, residents will need to bring a
sealable container or clean garden sprayer. This event is sponsored by Illinois
Southern Baptist Disaster Relief.
