Hawthorn Woods, IL – Wisconsin Central Railroad will be
temporarily closing Old McHenry Road to through traffic from Midlothian Road to
Quentin Road. The road closure is necessary for Wisconsin Central Railroad to
repair the existing railroad crossing. The road closure will begin Tuesday, June
13 at 6 a.m. and is scheduled to reopen Friday, June 16 in the late
afternoon.
Detour Route: Quentin Road, to Illinois Route 22, to Main
Street, to Midlothian Road.
