The Solid Waste Agency of Lake County is hosting a Household Chemical Waste Collection Event at the Vernon Hills Metra Station on Saturday. This is a great opportunity to get rid of unwanted aerosols, oil-based paints, fertilizer, batteries and other household chemicals. No appointment is required, and the event is open to all Illinois residents. Learn more about this event, including the items that will be accepted in the flyer below.
When: Saturday, May 6 from 8 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Where: Vernon Hills Metra Train Station, 75 E. Route 45, Vernon Hills
