I hope you
and those close to you have enjoyed a happy and safe Christmas and Chanukah. It is almost New Years Eve and I want to wish you a safe and joyous start to the year.
2017 will bring with it a new opportunity for me to serve Lake County at the state level.
On November 8th, I was elected to the Illinois General Assembly as the State Representative for District 51, which encompasses Libertyville, Long Grove, Hawthorn Woods, Lake Zurich, several of the Barrington communities, and parts of Mundelein and Vernon Hills. My last day as your Lake County Board Member will be January 11th.
These past four years, representing your voice in county government, have been an honor. I have a few weeks left in this role and will continue to keep you updated with county news. I am available to assist with any county related business or questions you may have as well.
Thank you again for choosing me to serve as your Lake County Board Member. It has been a wonderful gift.

Lake County Division of Transportation has a new interactive mapping tool to
give residents a behind-the-scenes look at what goes in to our snow and ice
removal operations. Find which snow plow routes you encounter on your way to
work or school, see what happens during a typical snow event, and connect with

Don’t Crowd the Plow
When plow trucks are out,
remember to stay back at least 50 feet or two to three car lengths, due to road
conditions and so the plow operators can see your vehicles. The Lake County
Division of Transportation’s snowplow operators are extremely safety conscious,
but they need your help. Stay back, and let them do their job of cleaning the
road for you. Don’t Crowd the Plow! Watch our video to learn more.
