All properties assessments in Moraine Township went up 7% because of the state multiplier. As a matter of fact, most of Lake County assessments have risen a similar multiplier over the past two years. The good news is that this one factor should not raise our property taxes because all properties rose at the same rate. My County Board District 11 is all in Moraine Township, but for those who live in West Deerfield the multiplier rose last year a similar amount.
