Patriot Path - IL Rte 137 Bike Path Project, Public Meeting Aug. 3


The Lake County Division of Transportation (LCDOT) is hosting a second Public Information Meeting for the Preliminary Engineering Study for the Patriot Path, an east/west bike path located along the IL Rte 137 roadway corridor.  The limits of the project are between the Des Plaines River (Independence Grove Forest Preserve) and Sheridan Road and connects four municipalities; Libertyville, Green Oaks, Waukegan, and North Chicago.

The purpose of the meeting is to present alternatives that were developed using stakeholder input from the first Public Information Meeting. At the meeting you can learn more about the evaluation of each alternative, view project exhibits, and see the current project schedule. 

Date:     Wednesday, August 3, 2016

Time:     5 - 7 p.m. (Open House Format)

Location: Greenbelt Cultural Center, 1215 Green Bay Rd, North Chicago

This second Public Information Meeting will be conducted in an informal, Open House format. Maps and exhibits will be available for public viewing. Feel free to attend the Public Information Meeting at any time between 5 - 7 p.m. Representatives from the Lake County Division of Transportation and the project consultant team will be present to discuss the project and answer any questions on an individual basis.
