I hope you are having a great summer! If you are looking for something fun to do for the whole family join me at some of the upcoming events in District 3. Lake Villa Days starts today, Lindenfest Next week plus many other events for the whole family.
I had a full calendar with many meetings and events this month. My favorite was that I was able to stop at the Lake County Health Department Midlakes Health Center. It just so happened to be their annual employee Olympics and was honored to award the winners their Gold Medals! I was their for a tour of the facility but got an extra special treat and show some appreciation for the hard work of our Health Department employees.
Once again assessments are out and Township Assessor Jeff Lee and I are hosting a forum to educate people on how to file an online appeal and better understand their assessment. Also the county has resources available if you can't make our event. Information is further down in Newsletter.
I enjoy keeping you informed on things happening around the county and community. Together we can make sure that Lake County remains a wonderful place to call home.
There are so many great activities in our communities to volunteer for and for the whole family to enjoy.
District 3 Rocks!
Sincerely, Tom Weber
