Metra Railroad Crossing on Fairfield Road to Close for 9 Days

Round Lake, IL-Metra Rail has informed the Lake County Division of Transportation of its intentions to close the railroad crossing on Fairfield Road, north of Illinois Route 134. The closure of the railroad crossing will begin Wednesday, June, 8 at 8:00 A.M. and it is scheduled to reopen to thru traffic the morning of Friday, June 17. The closure is necessary for scheduled repairs to the track and grade crossing.

Detour Route: Rollins Road to Cedar Lake Road to Illinois Route 134
