Regards,
Last evening, along with another 100 residents, I attended an open house regarding the intersection of Rt 60 and Fremont Center Rd. The maps, signs and consulting engineers provided information about the project along with information about other potential improvements in the inverted triangle formed by Peterson Rd at the north with Route 60 (west side) and Route 83 (east side) south to the Ivanhoe divide of Routes 60/83.
These open houses are informative and interactive. You may be interested in the next open house for the design options - and to learn about the complexities of improving transportation.
The Illinois Department
of Transportation invites the public to an open house concerning the proposed
improvements planned along 11 miles of state roadways Illinois Route 83
(Milwaukee Avenue/Barron Boulevard) and Illinois Route 137 (Buckley Road). The
potential improvements would directly impact sections within villages of Lake
Villa, Round Lake Beach, Grayslake and Libertyville. Learn more

Parking will be available at the vacant Dominick's property on the northwest corner of IL Route 176 and Midlothian Rd. Shuttle buses will take passengers from the parking area to the club entrance. adopted a reduced fiscal year 2016-2017
