The Lake County Division of Transportation (LCDOT) has begun an Intersection Improvement Study of Ela Road and Long Grove Road in Barrington and Deer Park. This study will address intersection safety, existing capacity and future travel demands, as well as pedestrian and bicyclist accommodations in the project area.
At the first Public Information Meeting, LCDOT will present the study schedule, planning process, and stakeholder involvement opportunities. The purpose of the meeting is to provide information on the project process and allow the public to share comments and concerns regarding transportation issues in the area.

The meeting will be conducted in an informal, open house format and interested persons may visit anytime between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to review exhibits, provide comments, and sign-up for consideration to serve on the project’s Stakeholder Involvement Group (SIG). LCDOT staff and project representatives will be available to discuss the project and answer questions.
