The Lake County
Division of Transportation (LCDOT) is conducting a Public Hearing to review
proposed improvements to the intersection of Gilmer Road and Midlothian Road
and construction of multi-use trails in the Village of Hawthorn Woods and
unincorporated Lake County. At
this meeting you will have the opportunity to provide comments on the preferred
alternative, which includes a signalized intersection, a 5-lane roadway
section, and bicycle and pedestrian facilities.

The meeting will be
conducted in an informal, open house format and interested persons may visit
anytime between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to view
preliminary construction drawings, exhibits, provide comments, and meet with LCDOT
and project study team representatives.
