As of March 1, some changes have been made to the Levy Bus schedule: 

1. The 12:15 p.m. route will now leave the Levy Center at 12:30 p.m.

2. The last run of the Levy bus will be at 3:30 p.m., rather than 3 p.m. This will give people the opportunity to participate in longer-running programs without the worry of missing the bus. 

3. Grocery shopping will be on Wednesdays only. The bus will drop off at Food for Less and Jewel and then return to pick you up. 

4. On the third Tuesday of every other month, the Levy bus will take people to the Century Theatre in Evanston. The bus will leave from the Levy Center at 10:45 a.m. and return at 2:45 p.m. to pick up patrons at the theatre. Watch the Levy news for the exact date in April.

5. The bus will continue to go to the Art Institute of Chicago on the third Tuesday of every other month (the opposite month of the Century Theatre).

Can’t hear? Northwestern University Audiology Clinic will conduct hearing screenings at the Levy Center on Friday, March 6. There will be 10-minute appointments beginning at 10 a.m. and ending at noon. Please call ahead for an appointment. 847-448-8250. There is no charge for this service, but pre-registration is required.

On Thursday, March 12, 2 p.m., learn how to recognize the warning signs of a stroke and how to prevent a stroke. The program is presented by NorthShore University HealthSystem. This is a free program but pre-registration is required. Please sign up at the front desk.

On Friday, March 20, at 1:30 p.m., enjoy a free Fran Randall Memorial Concert featuring pianist Kristina Nyberg. Kristina is a Music Club of Women Award winner and has played at the Levy Center before. This program is sponsored in part by the Levy Senior Center Foundation.
