TONIGHT: 'Kits, 'Cats and Kids Block Party!

Evanston's 'Kits, 'Cats and Kids Block Party will turn Sherman Ave. into a great place for the whole family to play tonight, Sept. 18, 5 p.m. to 7:45 p.m., in Downtown Evanston. Children, teens and adults can participate in games, activities and crafts while listening to live music.

Kick Off Hispanic Heritage Month this Saturday

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a free event featuring live music, art, food, dancing and more this Sat., Sept. 20, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., at the Robert Crown Center.

Evanston residents are invited to attend one of two public tours of the Evanston Water Treatment Facility on Sat., Oct. 11. Registration for the tours is first-come, first-served, and is limited to the first 30 residents who sign up.
