 Rock out and celebrate the end of the school year with Michigan-based surf and rock n' roll instrumental group, The Concussions, on Tues., June 10, 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., at James Park.

 Get a behind-the-scenes look at Evanston's thriving arts community at the first-ever Open Studios Evanston on Sat., June 7, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
More than 50 artists and arts organizations will open their doors to give community members an exclusive look into galleries and works in progress. Before you begin your tour that day, stop by the Noyes Cultural Arts Center to pick up a map of all the art studios in Evanston. This event is free and open to all ages. Sweepi and Ferdinand are a sweet and friendly 7-year-old sister/brother pair who crave attention. They have wonderful silky fur and love to be petted. Ferdinand is a little unsure in his new surroundings, but feels safer when his brave sister Sweepi is nearby. They even cuddle together in the same basket. A quiet home with lots of love and affection would be the perfect place for this adorable bonded pair.

 Parking in Evanston is now more convenient than ever! The City has launched a new pilot program allowing drivers in Evanston to pay for parking from their mobile phones.
The new PassportParking mobile app is currently available for use on the 1600 and 1700 blocks of Sherman Ave., and will be launched citywide later this summer.
