EVANSTON POLICE HOST SOUTH KOREAN POLICE DELEGATES
The Evanston Police Department was honored today with delegates from the South Korean National Police Service. These delegates were part of an educational partnership with Northwestern University’s Center for Public Safety who then attended a tour of the Evanston Police Department which gave delegates a firsthand look at day to day operations within the department.
The South Korean National Police delegates included Senior Superintendent General Sang-Yong Park who is President of the South Korean Police Training Institute, Senior Superintendent Je-Hoon Lee who is Director of the Academic Affairs Division for the Police Training Institute and Senior Inspector Ok-Ryong Jang, the International Program Officer for the Police Training Institute.
Pictured to the right is an exchange between Supt. General Park and Chief of Police Richard Eddington which is a customary practice when hosting international delegations.The Evanston Police Department is honored to have participated in this international meeting today.
