North Shore Sewer Rehabilitation Project to Resume on September 16

Inliner Solutions has been hired by the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRD) to continue the North Shore Sewer Rehabilitation Project. This project aims to maintain and improve the MWRD sewers along Sheridan Road. Work began last summer and will resume on Wednesday, September 16, with a projected end date of Wednesday, October 28.

The maintenance and improvement work on the MWRD sewers along Sheridan Road includes installing the last of three new manholes in Evanston. The Manhole will be installed at 7799 N. Sheridan Rd.

An access pit/shaft will remain open for one to two weeks. During this period, lane closures will be in effect to ensure safe and efficient work within the shaft. Upon completion, the pit/shaft will be restored in accordance with IDOT standards.

Please be aware that there will be traffic delays and late redirections on Sheridan Road during the project.
