Over the next several months, the City will be contracting improvements at Cartwright Park (located south of Grant Street and east of Prospect Avenue). The project is anticipated to begin in mid-July and be completed in October.
Work will include a new children’s playground, gazebo, pavements, drainage system, security lighting, site amenities, and landscaping, as well as improvements to the basketball court and tennis courts.
During construction, the park will be closed to the public. Construction activities may create some inconveniences for residents, but we will attempt to minimize these issues. Limited parking restrictions on adjacent roadways may be required to accommodate construction activities and will be signed with temporary “No Parking” signs posted 48 hours in advance.

Fitzsimons Park Renovations
