 Evanston’s First Friday event scheduled for Friday, June 5, at Mason Park has been canceled due to weather conditions. It has been rescheduled for Friday, June 12, 5 to 8 p.m., at Mason Park.
We hope community members can join us next week for an evening of food, music, games, bingo, raffles, and an obstacle course. This free community event is designed for all ages and is a great opportunity to connect with friends, neighbors, and family.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Evanston Public Library's Black Family Game Night has been postponed to Friday, June 26. It will be held at the same time and same location!
Black Family Game Night: Juneteenth Edition

Looking for a fun night out with family and friends? Join Evanston Public Library for Black Family Game Night: Juneteenth Edition, an evening of connection, culture, and friendly competition.
The evening will begin with casual games and activities before participants dive into an interactive trivia competition featuring questions about Black history, music, sports, pop culture, and more. Expect plenty of laughs, team spirit, and opportunities to win prizes.
Guests can also enjoy complimentary food from local Black-owned restaurants throughout the event.
