 Celebrate National Public Health Week!
National Public Health Week is here, and it's the perfect time to shine a spotlight on the staff who help keep Evanston healthy, safe, and thriving!
We're proud to have one of Illinois' longest-standing health departments, with roots going back over 150 years. Our Health and Human Services team does it all: inspecting restaurants, conducting water quality efforts, running wellness programs, responding to disease outbreaks, preparing for public health emergencies, and connecting residents to needed assistance.
This week and every week, we're grateful for their passion, dedication, and commitment to making Evanston a healthier place for all.
