Help prevent the spread of respiratory illnesses
Cases of respiratory illnesses (Influenza, COVID-19, and RSV) have increased over the past few weeks and are now at a high level statewide. Respiratory illness levels are likely to remain elevated for weeks.
Review these reminders on how to stay healthy and prevent the spread:
-
Get the flu, COVID-19, and RSV vaccines if eligible. View the state's full recommendations. It's not too late to get a vaccine for this season.
-
Wash your hands frequently with soap and water
-
Clean high-touch surfaces regularly
-
Cover coughs and sneezes
-
Strive for better ventilation
-
Where a mask if you must be around others
-
Stay home when sick with respiratory symptoms. You can resume normal activities when your symptoms are getting better overall, and you have not had a fever for 24 hours.
