Envision Evanston 2045: City Council Continues its Review on September 15th
City Council's suggested edits to the comprehensive plan can now be accessed on the Envision Evanston 2045 website.
Discussion of the draft will continue at a special meeting of the City Council on Monday, September 15, at 5 p.m. in Council Chambers on the 2nd floor of the new Lorraine H. Morton City Hall, 909 Davis St. Please plan to attend in person or virtually and provide your feedback. If you are unable to attend in person, you can share feedback via our online public comment form.
Looking Ahead
As previously noted, City Council moved to separate updates to the zoning code and map from the comprehensive plan. Once the plan is approved, the Envision Evanston 2045 team will seek direction from the City Council ahead of restarting community engagement and releasing new drafts of the zoning code and map for consideration. Be on the lookout for engagement events once the process restarts!
