 Inliner Solutions has been hired by the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRD) to begin the North Shore Sewer Rehabilitation Project. This project aims to maintain and improve the MWRD sewers along Sheridan Road and will begin on Monday, April 7 with a projected end date of Monday, May 5.
The Project
The maintenance and improvement work on the MWRD sewers along Sheridan Road includes the installation of three new manholes in Evanston. The overall duration of the project is expected to be one to two months.
Manhole locations will be installed at the following locations:
- 721 Sheridan Rd., Evanston
- 525 Sheridan Square, Evanston
- 7799 N. Sheridan Rd. Evanston
Please be aware that there will be traffic delays and late redirections on the northbound lanes of Sheridan Road during the project.
Scope of Work
Three access pits/shafts will be open for a period of one to two weeks each. During this time, there will be lane closures in effect to facilitate safe and efficient work within these shafts. Typically, no more than two shafts will be in operation concurrently. The restoration of the access pits/shafts will be conducted in accordance with IDOT standards.
