 Enjoy Spring in Evanston
Spring in Evanston, Illinois, offers a fantastic opportunity to embrace the outdoors, and cycling is a perfect way to enjoy the season. Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or getting your kid their first set of wheels, Evanston boasts several excellent bike shops ready to meet your needs.
Here are a few of our local favorites:
Mack's Bike & Goods | macksbikeandgoods.com | Central Street
A family-owned, full-service bicycle shop, Mack's Bike & Goods goes beyond cycling. We love their family-friendly events for kids throughout the year and the variety of services they offer: tune-ups, tire repair, custom builds, and snacks from local coffee shops and other small businesses.
Wheel & Sprocket | wheelandsprocket.com | Downtown Evanston
Located on Davis Street, Wheel & Sprocket is a full-service bike shop staffed by experienced professionals. They not only sell high-quality bicycles but also offer services like bike fitting, a selection of used bikes, and comprehensive repair services. Check out their fall event: Tour de Chequamagon, a 3-day, 104-mile race along Wisconsin’s North Woods.
Bucephalus Bikes | bucephalusbikes.com
A local, family-owned shop dedicated to the joy of cycling, Bucephalus Bikes has been serving Evanston since 2009. They offer outstanding service and support for all cycling needs, including repairs, tune-ups, overhauls, and custom builds.
