Evanston Fire Department Responds to Incident Involving Train
 EVANSTON, IL - On Monday, March 10, 2025, at approximately 11:00 p.m., the Evanston Fire Department was dispatched to the scene of a possible person struck by a train at the Davis Street stop in Evanston.
Upon arrival, fire crews assessed the situation and determined the scene was safe. They immediately identified the male victim as deceased. Crews then made contact with passengers on the involved Metra train to ensure that no one else required medical attention. As a result of the incident, some delays occurred in Metra service.
The scene has been relinquished to the Metra Police Department, who will conduct an ongoing investigation into the incident.
